In 1991, national executive search companies from various countries, operating primarily in the field of executive search services, combined to form the Hever Group. Their objective was to conduct cross-border mandates in partnership, whilst maintaining the structure of the individual companies. In 2000, the Hever Group merged with Amrop International to form The Amrop Hever Group. The name was changed to Amrop in 2010.
Amrop currently operates out of 89 offices in 57 countries, including almost all of the countries across the CEE region. Amrop and its 302 Partners generated turnover of $ 250 million with a workforce numbering 840 in 2008.
Market research company Hunt-Scanlon, which specialises in the executive search industry, cites Amrop in its latest ranking as one of the top 3 firms in the executive search industry [1].
All of the partner firms in Amrop are independent and entrepreneurial companies. Yet their membership in Amrop enables them to offer their services with the same branding across the globe.
The Group is led by a truly global Executive Board, which is supported by a General Secretariat based in Brussels, and manages general business processes as well as handling quality management.
Amrop’s consulting services are organised in international Practice Groups, each comprising specialists in the industry concerned. The 10 Practice Groups cover the following segments:
Amrop is represented with offices across Europe and the Americas, as well as in CEE countries, Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
